Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a premier aerospace and defence company under the Ministry of Defence, has released its notification for the Apprenticeship Training Intake for 2025-26. This opportunity is open to Graduate and Diploma holders in Engineering for undergoing Apprenticeship Training under the NATS scheme.
To ensure eligibility, HAL requires candidates to be medically and physically fit as per the Apprentices Act 1992 guidelines.

- Final year or passed-out candidates from Graduate (B.E/B.Tech) or Diploma background.
- Must be enrolled or willing to register on the NATS Portal.
- Engineering disciplines eligible include:
- Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Computer Science, and related streams.

🩺 Medical Fitness Standards (As per Apprentices Act 1992)
All candidates must be certified medically fit by a Registered Medical Practitioner. Here are the key standards:
1. Height & Weight
- Minimum Height: 137 cm
- Minimum Weight: 25.4 kg
- Chest Expansion: Minimum 3.8 cm
2. Vision
- No severe eye defects
- Candidates with vision in one eye are eligible
3. Hearing
- Good hearing in both ears
- No hearing aids allowed
4. Skin & Speech
- No chronic skin conditions or ulcers
- Clear speech preferred (no severe speech issues)
5. Oral & Digestive Health
- Healthy teeth and mouth
- No liver/spleen enlargement
- No piles, hernia, fissures, hydrocele, etc.
6. Cardio & Respiratory System
- Blood Pressure: Not above 140/85 mmHg
- No chest deformities, respiratory diseases, or cardiovascular issues
7. Nervous, Skeletal & Glandular Systems
- No mental illness or serious deformities
- Normal functioning of limbs and spine
- No glandular disorders (e.g., TB in glands)
