📌 Job Overview
- Position: Engineer / Jr. Engineer – Purchase
- Location: Pune, Maharashtra
- Qualification: B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience: 4 to 5 Years
- Industry: Automotive / Manufacturing
- CTC: Up to ₹5 LPA
🧾 Key Responsibilities
- Plan monthly purchases aligned with the production schedule
- Timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, spares, packing materials, etc.
- Maintain inventory levels as per management directives
- Vendor management, PO creation, and issue tracking
- Follow up for timely payments to suppliers
- Implement cost reduction strategies and ensure price control
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Fulfill all statutory and regulatory procurement requirements
- Drive new supplier development, evaluation, and re-evaluation
- Maintain adherence to SAP procurement systems
- Prepare and manage MIS reports
✅ Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in automotive or industrial procurement
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, SAP systems, and MIS reporting
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple vendors
- Exposure to cost control, supplier audits, and compliance norms
