📝 Job Overview:

ACE is urgently looking for a seasoned SCM professional to handle procurement and purchase operations for raw materials in a heavy fabrication environment. Ideal for someone with deep expertise in steel sourcing, vendor development, and material planning.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Full control over procurement of steel plates, structural items, casting, forgings, and other materials for heavy fabrication.
• Build & manage vendor relationships; ensure timely delivery.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms for maximum cost benefit.
• Work closely with production & design teams for material forecasting.
• Maintain inventory levels and apply best practices in procurement & planning.
• Develop alternate vendors to minimize lead time and dependency.
• Ensure procurement compliance with internal policies and audits.

✅ Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years of experience in heavy fabrication SCM or related field.
• Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, steel grades, and material specs.
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
