British Engines, a global name in precision engineering and machinery manufacturing, is looking for a seasoned professional to take charge of Assembly Shop and Production Planning at their Bengaluru plant.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage schedules for the assembly shop and overall production.
- Lead a team of planners and assembly technicians, optimizing resource use.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, and other teams to ensure demand forecasting and inventory alignment.
- Use Lean Manufacturing principles to drive efficiency and process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Generate and present production KPIs and monthly performance reports.
- Maintain stock and support timely delivery of projects.
✅ Desired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in assembly shop management and production planning.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in planning tools and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Good understanding of safety, quality, and compliance standards in the manufacturing sector.
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
