🔧 About the Role:
Advik Hi-Tech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Manager – EHS to strengthen its safety and compliance culture at the Rudrapur manufacturing plant. This role is focused on driving a safety-first mindset, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
🛡️ Key Responsibilities:
✅ Legal & Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to the Factories Act, Pollution Control norms, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.
- Maintain updated EHS licenses, registers, and permits.
- Coordinate internal & external audits and close non-conformities.
✅ Plant Safety Management:
- Conduct risk assessments (HIRA, JSA) for high-risk tasks.
- Enforce PPE usage, conduct inspections & behavior-based safety audits.
- Investigate incidents and drive corrective/preventive measures.
✅ Continuous Safety Improvement:
- Lead safety Kaizens, Gemba walks, Lean safety drives.
- Analyze incident trends and plug systemic issues.
✅ Training & Awareness:
- Deliver induction & refresher training for employees and contractors.
- Organize safety drills, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
✅ Environmental & Sustainability:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with emission, effluent & waste disposal norms.
- Drive green initiatives – energy saving, water reduction, and zero waste.
✅ Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of drills, trainings, incidents & safety metrics.
- Report on KPIs like LTIFR, TRIR, and safety audits.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
📚 Education:
- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Industrial)
- Diploma in Industrial Safety (Recognized by State Govt.)
💼 Experience:
- 5 to 8 years in EHS role in automotive or heavy manufacturing
- Must have worked with ISO 45001, 14001, and Lean/Kaizen/5S tools
🧠 Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Indian EHS Laws, risk assessments, RCA
- Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills
