🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Manage internal, customer, and certification audits (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001)
- Ensure quality assurance across Injection Moulding, Plating, and Paint Shop operations
- Prepare and manage PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC documentation
- Lead root cause analysis and CAPA using quality tools (5-Why, Fishbone, etc.)
- Act as a primary interface for customer audits and quality escalations
- Track and report quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage and mentor a team of quality engineers and auditors
🎓 Desired Candidate Profile
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma – Mechanical, Production, Polymer, or Chemical Engineering
- Experience:
- Minimum 12 years in QMS roles in automotive component manufacturing
- Deep expertise in Injection Moulding, Plating, and/or Paint Shop quality systems
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001
- Hands-on experience in customer quality management
- Leadership, audit coordination, and documentation control
